Back Office Tech Co-Manager

Pilar is one of our back office co-managers with 15 years of experience working as an ophthalmic technician. Pilar started her career in ophthalmology in 2008 at the front desk providing excellent customer service. She quickly grew to love the field and decided to train to be a technician. Pilar joined Tayani Institute in 2014 as a back officetechnician. She currently oversees the day-to-day operations, clinic flow and the performance of all technicians.

Pilar enjoys working with a diverse population of patients and provides compassionate and quality care by going above and beyond for each person she meets. Pilar grew up in Peru and moved to the United States in 2001. She has two grown sons whom she loves dearly and in her free time Pilar enjoys paddle boarding and salsa dancing.
