Dr. Tayani is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained orbital-facial plastic surgeon specializing is ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyes and upper face. He is one of the most highly trained vision and facial aesthetics specialists is Southern California. Dr. Tayani has chosen to specialize in this particularly delicate area of eye care to ensure that patients with eye-related concerns receive the focused attention and specialized care they deserve.
Dr. Tayani attended the University of California, Irvine, where he double majored in biology and psychology. He was heavily involved in leadership roles such as being the President of the Alpha Epsilon Delta National Premed Honor society. After receiving his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, he went on to complete his master's degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, in Health Policy and Management. He pursued an internship at Yale University with Dr. Ali Khodadoust, a residency in ophthalmology in Milwaukee, and ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship training at Harvard University. He also participated in several preceptorship programs around the country with key members of the aesthetic community.
In 2000, Dr. Tayani opened his practice in San Clemente, which he based on traditional family values. He is currently on staff at Mission Memorial, South Coast Medical Center, Saddleback Memorial, UCI Medical Center, Hoag Medical Center and St. Jude Medical Center, and is Chief of Ophthalmology at San Clemente Hospital and Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, California Medical Association, and the Orange County Medical Association.
Dr. Tayani believes that it is always in a patient's best interest to see a specialist, particularly in cases involving the eyes. He always strives for surgical excellence, as he knows how sensitive and vital patients' eyes and upper face are to their self-image and personal well-being. Dr.Tayani has been accredited by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and The American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Peter Joson is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is fellowship-trained in glaucoma. His expertise in the diagnosis and management of general ophthalmic conditions and the many varieties of glaucoma result in optimal care.
Furthermore, he is proficient in cataract surgery and the latest medical, laser, and surgical treatments for glaucoma, including selective laser trabeculoplasty, laser iridotomy and iridoplasty, trabeculectomy with antimetabolites, and glaucoma drainage device implantation.
He believes that medicine, and particularly, ophthalmology and glaucoma, are both sciences and arts. He endeavors to apply the science of medicine and tailor a treatment plan to the individual patient.
After spending his formative years in Anaheim, he attended Cornell University, double majoring in biology and economics. He then worked as a research associate in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the UC-Irvine School of Medicine. After receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Washington. Dr. Joson returned to New York to pursue a fellowship at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary with Dr. Robert Ritch, a pre-eminent leader in the field of glaucoma.
Committed to research and teaching, Dr. Joson has conducted research at UCLA’s Jules Stein Eye Institute, and has presented and published scientific papers in both the basic and clinical science of glaucoma.
He is a clinical instructor at the Veterans’ Administration Medical Center in Long Beach. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society and the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
He is a founding member and officer in the Orange County Glaucoma Society. Lastly, he holds leadership positions in the Orange County Society of Ophthalmology and the Association of Philippine Ophthalmologists in America.

Keyian Paydar, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor at the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Institute at the University of California-Irvine Medical School. Dr. Paydar is certified by the American Board ofPlastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California Los Angeles, and is a medical graduate of the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Dr. Paydar completed six years of general surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and an additional two years of plastic and reconstructive surgery training. In addition, he completed observer ships in Aesthetic Surgery in Dallas, Miami and New York under the guidance of world-renowned cosmetic surgeons.
He performs the full spectrum of aesthetic surgery procedures, including facial and neck procedures like face lifts, brow lifts, fat injection, eyelid surgery, and rhinoplasty, in addition to body procedures like breast enhancement, tummy tucks, and liposuction. Dr. Rebecca Ng has been practicing in the Saddleback Valley area since 1975. She is an honors graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelors and Doctorate degrees.
Dr. Ng provides comprehensive vision care services for all family members and specializes in contact lens evaluations. She holds a therapeutic and glaucoma drug license and treats ocular infections, ocular allergies, and dry eye problems associated with thyroid and autoimmune diseases. She also assists in the diagnosis and post-operative care of cataracts. Dr. Ng has participated in numerous clinical trials for contact lenses and their related solutions.
Dr. Ng is active in many professional and public service organizations. She has served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Inland Optometric Society, and as a previous member and past President of the DMV advisory board. She is currently a member of the California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, European Optometric Association, British Contact Lens Society, American Public Health Association and is currently a board member of the Orange County Optometric Society.
Her volunteer experience includes Vision USA, providing free eye exams and glasses for low-income people without insurance and Lions in Sight, providing free eye exams for the third world populations.
Dr. Ng is looking forward to welcoming all her previous patients that were covered under the vision insurances that she currently is not a provider for. Her patients have become life long friends and she is excited to see them all again.

Dr. Stephanie Mulick graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry in 2002. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2006, where she graduated with honors in patient care. She has her Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent Certification and Glaucoma certification and has been caring for patients in South Orange County since 2006.
Dr. Mulick received training in Optometry, and Ophthalmologic co-management of Cataracts, Glaucoma, and Ocular disease. She interned at the Illinois Eye Institute, the Las Vegas Veterans Hospital, the Southwestern Eye Center in Arizona and the Eye Center of North Florida.
She has extensive experience in family eye care of children and adults, including dry eye management, ocular infections, ocular allergies, computer vision syndrome, contact lens fittings, and eye surgery co-management.

She has also volunteered at the Orange County Braille Institute's youth program. As a trusted professional Dr. Ann Tran has been practicing in Orange County, specifically in Laguna Woods and Mission Viejo, since 1998. She received her Bachelor in Science from the University of California, San Diego and her Doctorate in optometry from Southern California College of Optometry.
Dr. Tran received her specialty training and interned at the Las Vegas and West Los Angeles Veterans Hospitals and the prestigious Omni Eye in Denver, Colorado. She is therapeutically licensed to treat and diagnosis various eye disease, experienced in co-management of LASIK, Glaucoma, cataracts, and more.
Currently, Dr. Tran is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the Asian Optometric Society and the Orange County Society.
Additionally, she enjoys volunteering for domestic and international vision missions in Thailand, El Salvador, Mexico & Vietnam. Currently she is involved with the Vietnamese community and foundations such as One Sight, Illumination Foundation, and Girl Scouts of America.
Dr. Tran is experienced with the senior citizen population and has served the Laguna Woods community over a decade. Along with providing comprehensive vision and medical eye exams to families and special needs children, she takes pride in fitting extensive contact lenses to patients of all ages.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Biology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Dr. Fadavi completed a tear film/ dry eye research internship with Dr. Donald Korb in Boston. She then attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she served as class president for two consecutive years, and received clinical honor and four meritorious service awards. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2002, and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Optics in 1999.
After graduation Dr. Fadavi moved back to Boston where she became the managing optometrist for a refractive surgery center for seven years. Since then she has worked in primary care clinic setting. Dr. Fadavi has extensive experience in refractive surgery and cataract management, contact lens fitting, and ocular pathology.
Dr. Fadavi moved to southern California in 2010 to be closer to her family. She enjoys using her strong education and clinical experience to address the vision needs of each of her patients. She takes pride in providing each patient with the highest level of care, so to enhance their lives with better vision. She is also the owner and director of Dr. Fadavi’s Center for Permanent Cosmetics in Mission Viejo.
Dr. Roushan Fadavi first became interested in the field of Optometry during an undergraduate anatomy class on dissection of the eye. During the same time period she volunteered with the visually impaired and saw first-hand the challenges that people face when disease or injury disrupts vision.
Dr. Moin graduated with Honors from Sam Houston State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. She worked as a Medical Microbiologist for several years in the Clinical Health Laboratory at Methodist and Memorial Hospitals. Her personal interest and passion for eye care motivated her in continuing her education to obtain a Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences in California. She is a compassionate eye care professional who strives for the wellbeing of her patients in the areas of ocular infections, diagnosis of eye diseases, dry eye symptoms, contact lens fittings and post-operative co-management. Dr. Moin is a member of American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and Orange County Optometric Society. She routinely volunteers for Illumination Foundation and Kids Vision for Life Organisations.

Dr. Tai graduated with High Honors in Biochemistry from Rutgers University. She went on to receive a master’s degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Human Nutrition, and her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in California. During her Ophthalmology residency at University at Buffalo, she was chosen as Chief Resident. Dr. Tai then completed a fellowship in corneal, external diseases and refractive surgery at the renowned Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at University of California, Irvine, surrounded by the latest in technology and innovation and mentored by national and international leaders.
